This post links the Bavarian Illuminati and Yale’s Skull and Bones. I will also discuss some theories on why the number 322 is associated with the secret society that is also known as The Order, Order 322, and The Brotherhood of Death. I have been trying to finish this post for several weeks 😅; it has evolved a bit and it seemed like a rabbit hole opened up with some “enlightening” information that traced back farther than I envisioned on discussing. Anyways, today’s date of 3/22 is appropriate enough and gave me the push to publish. Enjoy!

That mysterious and kinda cool number, 322. It is stamped on the Skull and Bones emblem. Below are listed reasons and connections to 322. All of which are connected to death.

1. The Greek statesman and orator  Demosthenes

It has been reported that the Skull and Bones Hall, aka the “Tomb” is or has been adorned with statues and the likes of none other than Demosthenes. He died in 322 BC. There is also reports that paperwork was seen in the Tomb which had a different time keeping format, where Anno Domini, which means “in the year of our Lord” was changed to Anno Demostheni, “the year of Demosthenes” ^[1][2.6]

I will preface my opinion by modifying a quote from the movie Tropic Thunder: “Never go full refutard”. I.e., don’t refute when it comes to occult subjects unless you really know. I don’t really know so I won’t refute. Demosthenes is worthy of praise but the smell test result is on the stinkier side of inconclusively. It is easy to trick the human mind so the supposed homage in the Tomb could be a layer of bullshit.

2. Aristotle

The G.O.A.T. philosopher, Aristotle, is worth consideration to have 322 ties based on his death year of 322 BC. If the death of Demosthenes in 322 BC is offered, why not take a look at Aristotle as a reason behind 322. Aristotle taught about apotheosis. Apotheosis (uh-poth-ee-oh-sis) is “the glorification of a subject to divine levels and, commonly, the treatment of a human being, any other living thing, or an abstract idea in the likeness of a deity.”^[2]. Apotheosis will be discussed later as a subject connected to death and the Skull and Bones.

3. Alexander the Great

An example of apotheosis is Alexander the Great, who was actually a tutor of Aristotle. Alexander believed he was the son of Zeus or maybe he just manipulated the people into thinking he was such a god ^[2.1]. Regardless, Alexander reached levels of success and glory after his tutoring with Aristotle. He is a good example of what levels a person can elevate themself to reach. Interesting enough, Yale Alumni Magazine has pointed to another popular theory that 322 reflects the year 322 B.C. when Alexander died^[2.2]; although 323 B.C. appears to be more referenced as the year of his death. Even more interestingly is that the highly accomplished Alexander died at 32 following a 2-week febrile (feverish seizure) illness ^[2.3]. That 32-2 makes another interesting connection to the number 322 and death.

4. The concept of Apotheosis

The term Apotheosis can yield a clue to 322. Apotheosis is from the Greek apotheoun, “to make a god,” “to deify” implies a polytheistic conception of gods while it recognizes that some individuals cross the dividing line between gods and men.^[2.4]

We are not on Earth for a long time so being called a Saint (considered by some to be a form of Apotheosis) or demi-god is not too shabby. Reminds me of a George Strait song, Here for a Good Time, which he co-wrote with his son Bubba and songwriter Dean Dillon. I previously had distain for its surface level elements of escapism. However today I looked under the hood of the song and saw layers of faith, hope, love, optimism and ambition for goodwill. I see it as a song about doing good with our time in this world while we can, and being able to die satisfied with the opportunities given to us in the life we have.

Back to apotheosis. The root word Apotheoun shares gematria of 120 with some Illuminati noteworthy terms including “Illuminati”, “Owl of Athena”, and “Illuminated”. “Saint George” also sums to 120. He is the patron saint of England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿, associated with the red cross. St. George arose from the legend of George of Capodoccia who was known for his learning, so he makes an apropos patron saint for the illuminated. It should be noted that there is another Saint George (of Lydia), the dragon slayer, who also has freemasonry ties.

The Illuminati has Rosecrusian roots. A theory of why 120 is significant is because of a story that stems from the Rosicrucian founder, Christian Rosenkreuz (C.R.) Here is an excerpt from Francis Bacon and the Secret of the Rosicrucian Rose by Mather Walker^[2.5]:

The earliest extant writing which mentions the Rosicrucian order was the Fama Fraternitatis, first published in 1614 but probably circulated in manuscript form somewhat earlier than this. It recounts the journey of the reputed founder of the movement, Christian Rosenkreuz, to Damascus, Damcar (a legendary hidden city in Arabia), Egypt, and Fès, where he was well received and came into possession of much secret wisdom. He returned finally to Germany, where he chose three others to whom he imparted this wisdom and thus founded the order. Later the number was increased to eight, who separated, each going to a separate country. One of the six articles of agreement they adopted was that the fraternity should remain secret for 100 years. At the end of 120 years the secret burial place and the perfectly preserved body of the founder were discovered by one of the then members of the order, along with certain documents and symbols held in very high esteem by Rosicrucians. The sacred vault was re-covered, the members of the order dispersed, and the location of the vault was lost to history. The Fama ends with an invitation to “some few” to join the fraternity. Among those believed to have been associated with the order were German alchemist Michael Maier, British physician Robert Fludd, and British philosopher and statesman Sir Francis Bacon.

Even more interesting is that Bacon liked Democritus who is credited with the concept of the atom. It just so happens that “Democritus” sums to 120 Illuminati. Bacon wrote in 1604 about it… Here is another excerpt from Francis Bacon and the Secret of the Rosicrucian Rose.

Democritus was also regarded highly by Bacon who began his 1604 treatise “Thoughts on the Nature of Things”, with the statement:

“The doctrine of Democritus concerning atoms is either true or useful for demonstration..For it is not easy either to grasp in thought or to express in words the genuine subtlety of nature, such as it is found in things, without supposing an atom.”

Some people believe C.R. is actually Francis Bacon. The number 120 is relevant to death and apotheosis in a few ways. The first is that the tomb of Rosenkreuz was discovered with text written on a hidden door: “AFTER 120 YEARS I WILL APPEAR”. Below is an illustration of C.R.’s tomb with the number 1604 written at the bottom right. It is said that C.R.’s birth was in 1484, 120 years prior to the tomb’s “discovery”.

I found something very telling about the tomb story. 120 years is that the time span equals 1604 lunar sidereal orbits or months. A sidereal month is 27.322 days (another 322 in there). 1604 is numerically the same number as the year said of C.R.’s tomb discovery! What is going on here? Is there a deeper code; a way to show off astronomical time conversions; or only coincidence? I believe it was a clever way to show knowledge of the lunar sidereal month, but also highlighting the number 120. Thought to self, who was playing around with astro calculations back then?

Another curious match with gematria albeit not proof that the Illuminati cipher goes back to the Rosecrusians is the fact that “Sixteen o four” = 164 Illuminati. It’s common to phonetically substitute the letter O for zero.

To better explain (hopefully) this phenomenon, 120 tropical years is not exactly 1604 lunar sidereal months (1604.19) but close enough. Having increments of 10 (it would be more conspicuous if someone called out 131 instead of 120) that alignment only happens every 401 years, based on 13.368 lunar sidereal months per tropical year. E.g., in 1855 one could target year 2005 and have said “After 150 years I will appear”, where 150 years is about 2005 lunar sidereal months. (1855+150 = 2005).

Another link to 120 is from Genesis 6:3:

³ And the Lord said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.

Trying to come full circle from Genesis 3:22 when God decided to make man mortal. God limited the lifespan of mankind to 120 years. The Old Testament tells us that Moses lived to 120 years old. A reasonable maximum time to live as a human!

5. The number 322 is rooted in Genesis

Genesis 3:22 KJV

²² And the Lord God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:

It can be said that in that verse, God decides to put the kibosh on immortality. In the next verse, God swiftly kicks Adam and Eve out of the garden. Life ending with a physical death is the result.

A link with Genesis 3:22 can be found with Bavarian Illuminati history. Here is an excerpt from the website scienceabby.com where one can draw a philosophical and numerical link to 322 via Genesis 3:22.

Weishaupt was convinced by Rousseau’s ideas of the Noble Savage and the Perfectibility or Illumination of man. The concept of the Noble Savage embodied the idea that the original humans lived at one with nature. The Biblical Adam and Eve were free and unspoiled until sin and subsequent suffering replaced this natural harmonious state. The root causes of suffering are desire, especially for material property; vice; and the subsequent injustice, which replaces liberty with endangerment, fear, servitude and labor.

Weishaupt claimed that the secret object of Jesus Christ (traditionally the ‘Second Adam’) was to guide the corrupted humankind to a return to the original pure and ideal state of natural equality and liberty.^[3]

But wait there’s more…

The Skull and Bones are also known as the Brotherhood of Death, having a skull and crossbones in their emblem. The 322 theory, if you have not connected the dots above 😅 , is this: The number 322 has roots in Genesis 3:22, which touches on immortality. The symbols of skull and bones ☠️ reminds us that we will all die, regardless of how we perceive ourselves. This is a wise concept to instill to group of people, particularly teenage men that generally have a sense of immortality. Such ego checking messaging is precisely what was found in Room 322 at the Tomb: Wer war der Thor, wer Weiser, wer Bettler oder Kaiser? Ob arm, ob reich, im Tode gleich. (“Who was the Fool, was the Wise man, was the Beggar or the King? Whether poor, or rich, all are the same in death”). The same imagery and saying has been associated to the Illuminati.

Illuminati is the plural of Illuminatus. It is said that Weishaupt believed Jesus …. Surely it was Jesus, the man of God; “the second Adam”; the light of the world, was a fundamental aspect to the founding of the Illuminati. Therefore it can be said that Jesus is the original Illuminatus. The OG of Illuminati if you will. I will point out that the Greek word for Jesus, Ιησούς sums to 322 in Greek Primes. (Shout out to Lambda115 for sharing the cipher). I have not experimented with the cipher but I found the entry worth mentioning. The Greek Primes Cipher is similar to the English Primes Cipher and shown below for comparison.

Jesus. Ιησούς = 322 Greek Primes

Weishaupt connected to Jesus Christ on a deep personal level, possibly with some numerical synchronicities or deliberate crafting when choosing dates and names etc. Check out a few examples:

Illuminatus, Jesus Christ, and “Adam J. Weishaupt” all sum to 151 Ordinal. May 1 written as 1/5 and 5/1 is the founding day of the Illuminati in 1776 although they were first called the Bund der Perfektibilisten or Covenant of Perfectibility (Perfectibilists) ^[4]. Btw, the name of the place of Weishaupt’s eventually death is Gotha which sums to 51 Ordinal. May 1 is the 122nd day of the year. Weishaupt = 122 Illuminati and Ordinal. Consider the original name, Scull & Bones. That also sums to 122 Ordinal. Francis Bacon’s birthday is January 22 or 1/22.

“Sir Francis Bacon” = 151 Ordinal and “Francis Bacon” reduces to 51. Bacon is relevant because he connects to an earlier Rosicrucian order and almost certainly influenced a man such as Weishaupt. Noteworthy that “Rosy Cross” = 151 Ordinal and Rosicrucian = 151 Reverse Ordinal as well, curious clues perhaps to Rosicrucian roots of the Bavarian Illuminati.

Bacon died on April 9,1626. The name Illuminati was founded in the 151th year after Bacon’s death. In April 1778, the Perfectibilists became the Illuminatenorden, or Order of Illuminati. Another curious entry is the German name Illuminatenorden that replaced Bund der Perfektibilisten. Illuminatenorden = 1501 Fibonacci cipher. Before the name Illuminati was chosen, Weishaupt had seriously contemplated the Bee order^[5]. 🐝 The beehive has Masonic and Christian symbolism ^{[6] [7]}. Bacon was associated with to the Rosicrucians and Freemasons.

In addition to being a professor of civil law, Adam Weishaupt was the non-clergy chairman of Canon Law at Ignostatt University. He was Jesuit educated, worked at a Jesuit University and died as a Catholic that was Eternal physical life was taken away from mankind when God stopped access to the Tree of Life after the fruit from the Tree of Knowledge was eaten. Again, in Gen 3:22 it was explained after the fruit was eaten. “And the Lord God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil”.

6. Skull and Bones formed from a German secret society.

Skull and Bones was founded by William Huntington Russell and Alphonso Taft in 1832. Russell studied abroad in Germany in 1831-32. According to more lore, Russell befriended a German who was in a secret society and obtained authority to start a new chapter. The name was first “The Order of Scull and Bones” then changed to “The Order of Skull and Bones”. The spelling of the word Scull may not be trivial as I will show later.

It is unclear who or what German secret society gave authority to create a second chapter. Russell and Taft in ‘32 supposedly created the 2nd chapter. Those numbers are said to be a circumstance that gave an origin to the meaning number 322. This is a pretty enticing tidbit. Was this German secret society the actual Bavarian Illuminati or a proxy thereof? Adam Weishaupt created the Illuminati in Germany. I recently looked at his death date which was in 1830 on November 18, and noticed that it was the 322nd day of the year! I have not come across this fact elsewhere so I am glad to support other Illuminati-Skull and Bones connections.

Weishaupt adopted the name Brother Spartacus in the Illuminati. This name is interesting because it sums to 141 Illuminati Novice. “Adam Weishaupt” and “Scull and Bones” (original spelling) have matching gematria including 141 Ordinal.

Here are some 141 matches including the word Circumpunct = 141 Ordinal. The Circumpunct is a symbol used to denote the Illuminati.

Additional information on 141 was given from Luis Gonçalves, a researcher who has helped gematria communities by introducing and showing relevance of various ciphers including the Illuminati cipher aka Illuminati Novice. Luis is a resource for improving gematria practice by learning the history behind the ciphers and also by developing gematria calculators. In fact this post would not of materialized without the interaction and collaboration from him. (I left some recommended links at the bottom of this post). He has pointed out to me that the reverse side of the U.S. dollar bill has 141 letters, and that each of the terms “Francis Bacon“, “New Atlantis“, “Let There Be Light” and “Jesus Christ” sums to 141. We know the U.S. dollar has Illuminati clues. The year 1776 is the year of the founding of both the USA and Bavarian Illuminati. Many of you already know that the dollar even has a little hidden Owl of Minerva.

Skull and Bones is a secret society where death is a core theme. The Order is a possible offshoot or extension of the Illuminati, or the Illuminati itself in disguise. It also seems reasonable to think that Skull and Bones is just one of several secret societies that create an entry to the Illuminati.

Weishaupt’s death date was two years prior to the Skull and Bones founding. One can think about how the news of a death of someone like Weishaupt traveled around certain circles and may of been an integral part of inspiring the formation the new order at Yale. E.g. if a fundamental term of The Order is death, could it numerically play a part on their elusive founding date?

Possible Skull and Bones founding days in 1832: August 11, November 8 and November 18.

The meaning of 141 is unclear but it has been established that the number has significance. Maybe it is a stamp of sorts going back to at least the days of Adam Weishaupt. The 141st prime number is 811. The Order is also nicknamed “The Brotherhood of Death”. Death = 118 Agrippa Key. A curious day is August 11 written as 11/8 in most of the world. 8/11 or August 11 is day number 223 in the year, which of course is the hermetically mirrored number of 322. Weishaupt’s nickname Spartacus = 118 Ordinal…November 8 is also formatted in most countries as 8/11. The other founder, Taft turned 22 on November 5 so 11/8 would be 3 days later… that is yet another 3-22 that ties to the founders, Illuminati and possible founding date. BTW Taft’s birthday of November 5, 11/5 coincides with Illuminati = 115 Ordinal.

7. 322 is based on astronomical elements

Or was The Order founded on the 322nd day of the year, November 18, matching Weishaupt’s death day? Further, Weishaupt = 322 Elizabethan 360, a new cipher to me that has also been presented by Luis. 11/18 just so happens to be exactly 2 years after Weishaupt’s death when Russell was 23 (223). And 223 is the 48th prime, which just so happens that “Illuminati” = 48 in Reduction.

After seeing that 120 years = 1604 Lunar Sidereal months and the tomb of C.R. was found in 1604, astronomical alignments should not be discounted or ignored. A lunar sidereal month is 27.322 days. Another 322 built in there.

The planet Mars has a sidereal orbital period of 687 days or about 1 year, 322 days. That 322 sticks out like a sore thumb. The gematria of the word Mars sums to 51 Ordinal. Interesting when the Illuminati’s birthday is May 1. More to Mars: Adam Weishaupt’s death was on Nov. 18 in Scorpio. That sign is ruled by Mars.

Another planet with 51 is Pluto. Pluto = 51 Reverse Ordinal. The Greek counterpart, Hades = 51 Fibonacci. Pluto/Hades is the god of the underworld, a post death destination…

The Moon is a central element to Jewish culture. “The Moon”

= 223 Hebrew Gematria

Another aspect of “illumination” involves the Moon. The Sun’s light reflects off the Moon in increasing or decreasing percentages. The Moon’s illumination is an analogy of gaining knowledge. In this regard, one can view Illuminati occult knowledge analogous to the increasing indirect light of the Sun on the moon. From new moon to full moon. The moon can represent cycles of life and death, where death is highlighted in this post. Some Greek sects believed the Moon was the land for the dead. NASA’s most powerful moon rocket, named Artemis after the Greek moon goddess, is 322-foot-tall. Go figure. Another interesting Kabbalah-esque alignment is that 322 sidereal lunar months equals 24 years and 322 lunations equals 26 years. I say Kabbalah-esque because 24 and 26 matches the 24 and 26 letter alphabets used for alphanumeric coding including but not limited to Greek, Latin and English.

A lunation is another way of describing a lunar synodic month. It’s the time of about 29.53 days between consecutive new or full moons. Solar and Lunar eclipses are predicted by using the Saros series. The Saros is a period of exactly 223 synodic months.

I made some previous moon associations with the Illuminati in the post illuminati-and-the-moon mainly based on the 99 lunation time or 8 years 1 day (81) keeping unit of the Octaeteris. Illuminati = 81 Illuminati. It makes the upcoming U.S. X solar eclipse in April special because Illuminati = 48 Reduction and the eclipse date 4/8 is the 99th day of the year.

Summary

It is quite possible to have more than one reason for why 322 was chosen as The Order’s special number. Demosthenes, Aristotle, Genesis 3:22, the Weishaupt death day, the Russell and Taft connections… and related numerical clues may be relevant on their own or combined to some degree which would elevate 322 to an higher illuminated level. Besides taxes, death is certain for all of us and also is the common subject matter throughout most of the theories. So the take away is that 322 is a reminding number of our death.
